Brazil based company Reclame Aqui is taking facial recognition to a new level. Their app, “Corruption Detector” allows users in Brazil to detect which of their politicians have a history of corruption, simply by taking a picture of that politician. Given Brazil’s well documented history of political corruption, the company hopes this will help keep the public more informed and lead to better decision making.
